Investing in Leadership for dwp.’s Next Phase

As dwp. continues to expand across markets, sectors and services, growth is creating new opportunities and new responsibilities. To support this next stage, the practice has strengthened its leadership team with two appointments: Natapon Akomsoontorn as Chief Executive Officer of dwp. International and Claudio Mura as General Manager of dwp. Thailand.

Both appointments reflect a broader shift across the industry. Design firms today are expected to do more than deliver projects. Clients increasingly look for partners who understand business, investment, operations and long-term value alongside design.

Natapon joins dwp. International with cross-disciplinary experience spanning architecture, real estate development, investment strategy and commercial leadership. He has held senior roles across South East Asia at Asset World Corporation, DP Architects, ONG&ONG and, most recently, 1508 London, working across both the design and development sides of the industry.

His track record sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and project delivery, with a focus on how design decisions translate into long-term asset value and stakeholder outcomes. As CEO, he is focused on strengthening dwp.’s partnerships, advancing its commercial and geographic expansion, and aligning design capability with business performance across the firm’s international business.

Claudio joins dwp. Thailand, following leadership roles across Vietnam, China and Myanmar, most recently with Bitexco Group, where he oversaw the delivery of large-scale mixed-use, hospitality and retail developments while contributing to investment and development decisions.

His experience spans architecture, real estate and business management, with a focus on aligning design intent with commercial viability and executional discipline. As General Manager of dwp. Thailand, his mandate centres on strengthening studio operations, building delivery capability and structuring the organisation to support increasingly complex, multi-sector projects.

For more than 30 years, dwp. has grown by bringing together talented people from different disciplines, cultures and markets. As the practice evolves, investing in leadership remains one of the most important ways to support that growth.

The addition of Natapon and Claudio reinforces dwp.’s leadership across both commercial and operational dimensions. Their combined experience across design, development, operations and commercial strategy reflects the increasingly integrated nature of the built environment, and the direction dwp. is pursuing as it expands internationally.
