World Luxury Hotel Award for the Best Hotel for Lotte Seoul and he was the Gold Key winner for Best Hotel and Best Guestroom for the Kempinski Hotel, Mall of Emirates in Dubai just to name a few.
Ivana is a design oriented Architect with over 18 years experience in architecture, urban design & interior design. Her experience spans a broad range of sectors and project scales including education, masterplanning, civic, workplace, residential, health, planning and commercial projects in Australia and Europe.Ivana has lead the design of many international competitions and award winning projects; she is the recipient of the BPB International Trophy in 2006 and National Trust Heritage Award in 2014.Her commitment to design excellence shows through her innovative thinking and design review processes to ensure projects achieve the best outcomes for the client.

Dion Gosling is a leading architect and thought-leader for sports, community and recreation facilities across Australia and NZ.
As a former NZ Hockey Black Stick, Olympic Athlete and Commonwealth Games silver medallist. Dion has innate knowledge of sports and community projects shaped by years of personally interacting with local and international facilities over the past 25 years.
Since retiring from international hockey in 2005, Dion has successfully combined his two foremost passions: sports and architecture, specialising in masterplanning, design and delivery.

Ramya has close to 13 years of experience as an interior designer with the experience and capability to deliver a wide variety of project types to the international standards expected by dwp clients. Ramya’s talents extend through various project types, including hospitality, residential and commercial spaces in Asia. A motivated designer and a team-player, she is able to communicate and work well with people at all levels. Preferring to follow her passion and drive rather than conventional design rules, Ramya is always ready to innovate, taking inspiration from her many other interests.
Michael is an acknowledged architecture industry leader and is active at state and national levels with the Australian Institute of Architects and the Association of Consulting Architects. He is a member of the South Australia state design review panel and was awarded the Royal Society for the Arts award for Art and Architecture in 2001.
Tom is an enthusiastic designer with a focus on innovative design. His strengths lie in the disciplines of design, contract documentation, 3D visualization and graphics.
Katherine’s experience has centred around the delivery of a range of projects for the education, health, civic, workplace and residential sectors. She demonstrates an exceptional understanding of the execution and realisation of design solutions for these project typologies.
She has a practical and thorough approach to all aspects of project delivery including management, feasibilities, design, documentation, consultant coordination and contract administration. Through her comprehensive management processes, Katherine is a strong and effective project leader.
Katherine has recently been managing the redevelopment of the State Heritage-listed former Newcastle Courthouse, for Nihon University’s Newcastle Campus redevelopment. Her most recent major project roles were to manage the external façade documentation packages for the Gold Coast Private Hospital and Newcastle Private Hospital Extensions.

Shanica is the Sustainability Leader of dwp. She is a qualified member of various sustainability credentials worldwide, such as a WELL AP, WELL Health Equity Advisor, Living Future’s Ambassador, Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP), LEED and Certified Passivhaus Designer. She is a registered architect with 15-year experience post graduation, where she has gained strong project leadership skills and expertise in documentation and project management at all project stages across multiple sectors including civic, sport, residential, commercial, health, aged care and education.
Associate Design Director Architecture
With over than 18 years of experience in architecture projects, Waralak works closely with the Design Director on all aspects of the design development, documentation, specifications and production utilizing her extensive experience with integrated architecture and interior design projects in Thailand and overseas. Waralak supervises a team of designers & technicians as the key point of contact for the client daily throughout the project. Waralak attends all client meetings from the start of the project through to the weekly on-site meetings during construction with the assistance of key personnel at various stages.

With over 20 years at dwp, John Chue is based in Ho Chi Minh City. He oversees our Quality and ISO process certification across all studios.
John has been integral in dwp’s transition to a digital cloud-based business and the transition of all processes to online digital dashboards.
Vicki is a leading interior designer recognised for her innovative and dynamic interior design. She believes working closely with the architectural team helps to produce seamless, integrated and well considered design outcomes for people place and purpose. Cameron brings over 20 years of international experience in the design and administration of complex projects across the commercial, health, education, industrial and retail sectors. As a strong team leader Cameron collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for the client. His approach has been informed by his years as a Project Architect, he is pragmatic and rigorous, focusing on quality documentation and clear communication to all.
Ryan Murray has significant experience in projects within dwp’s community portfolio, with a focus on sport and leisure, health and education. He has over 8 yrs experience and is currently working on projects across Australia from initial concept development and design, to management and construction. He has a keen eye for detail and demonstrates an exceptional understanding of how to execute design solutions. With excellent documentation and project coordination skills, he enjoys resolving complex briefs.
Ryan is motivated and ambitious, using effective project management skills, he builds strong relationships with team members, clients and consultants. Peter has over 25 years of architectural experience with involvement in all stages of the design process from initial client briefings through design and documentation to contract administration. He has worked on large scale commercial, educational, sporting and multi-residential projects. In his own practice, Valencic + Associates, his client liaison and project management skills have been invaluable. Peter is registered to practice as an Architect in NSW (#6428) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
Associate Design Director
Jake is a registered Architect with 9 years of sports, transport and urban planning experience both in Australia and in the United States. His career has focused around the creation and refurbishment of large sports stadia with a focus in athletics, aquatics, football and rugby stadia and training facilities. Jake’s experience in complex buildings has allowed him to become exceptional at large scale building procurement methods and project delivery in Australia.

Graham is focussed on building strong, trustworthy and long term relationships with his clients. He is intent of being proactive in anticipating their needs and aspirations, and exceeding them. His aim is to complete each project with the client enthusiastically prepared to our practice on their next project. Graham is very experienced in urban and master planning; he leads the Education and Retail sectors of the practice whilst overviewing all aspects of Studio operations.
Christian Barkowski is experienced in various aspects of building design and documentation through his work on a wide range of projects, especially residential and health. He has excellent documentation and project coordination skills whilst maintaining a passion for collaboration, striving to incorporate originality and design quality into every project he works on. Christian is interested in using architecture as a language to communicate spatial understanding, responding to history, context and conceptual ideologies to improve the users’ experience and simultaneously enhance client value through considered, high quality design.

Geoffrey is responsible for the design and delivery of a large range of architectural projects. He utilises clear communcation and thorough consultation to understand the client’s objectives and achieve the best architectural outcomes. Combining a love for detail, sustainable design and innovative design, Geoffrey is able to guide clients through all phases of a project.
As a Design Director, Scott Chapple brings to the role his broad experience as an architect across the education, health, civic and workplace sectors in addition to retail which assists him to strongly position our projects within a community context.
Primarily, Nicole has worked within the health, residential and sports and recreation space. Her experience in the management of projects, in conjunction with her understanding of design, documentation and consultant coordination ensures she is an asset on any project team.
Nicole has a practical approach to problem-solving which is underpinned by an excellent understanding of BIM modelling tools. Her ability to quickly convert concepts into a 3D environment to test and explore options, to be shared with team members and clients alike, is a key asset in the success of her designs.
Nicole has recently been managing The Victoria Clinic, a non-acute mental health clinic for Healthscope. Prior to this, her most recent major project roles was the delivery of the internal works packages for the Redevelopment of Concord oval and the internal fitout of Arena, a 200+ apartment complex which consisted of 49 unique apartment layouts.
Kellie Adler is a senior level BIM technician with extensive experience in drawing and documentation of projects at every phase. Her experience has been gained both here and overseas, including work on several large international developments. She is experienced in a wide range of project typologies including education, recreation & civic and especially elite sports facilities. Kellie’s intelligent, diligent approach ensures high standards in our documentation. She has worked with BIM since joining dwp and is sought after for BIM training, documentation and technical support.
David Rose is a highly regarded architect, urban designer and masterplanner with a considerable track record in urban development.

Ron Bridgefoot has over 32 years’ experience in the planning, design and documentation of healthcare projects across Australia, South-East Asia and the Pacific. Ron’s vast experience in the development of public and private healthcare facilities ranges from strategic resource planning, masterplanning and concept design through to commissioning.
Associate Design Director Interior Design, Workplace
Napong graduated with a Bachelor degree in interior architecture and received a Master ‘s degree from New York School of Interior Design, USA. Before he went to study abroad he was working in Bangkok and gained experience in hospitality and residential field. After he received his master degree in 2010 he started working in NYC as interior designer and gained more experience in Entertainment and casino design. Napong is another key design talent and has worked together with his team seamlessly, delivering large scale workplace projects in Thailand. He will assist our Design Director with design development and planning all specialist areas. He will be responsible for all documentation and detailing as required for technical issues and coordination with the consultant team. Napong will coordinate all design detailing, preparation of specifications, documents, finishes and materials requirements for all workplace areas.
With a career spanning more than 30 years, Roger has developed expert knowledge and keen insight across an expansive and diverse range of projects and situations. Highly skilled in project delivery, Roger specialises in project management, contract documentation and administration – he is a leader of our Health & Care and Education sectors. James has over 25 years of design and project management experience in the Hospitality and high end retail sector. His roles have covered conceptualising and planning, project management, design management on site, client and contractor liaison. James has designed hotels and food and beverage outlets for the world’s top brands including Accor, IHG, Marriott and a range of other independent brands. James is as passionate about functionality as he is about the hotel experience.
David Brian is a registered architect with over 15 years extensive design and project management experience. He has a rich background in leading health, aged care, education and industrial projects and has played key roles in managing and delivering complex, large projects. As a result, he has a deep understanding of the contribution that built form makes to the environment, particularly with regard to community infrastructure. David leads by example; inspiring and motivating others. His strong client management, communication and listening skills and collaborative, team-focused approach result in excellent working relationships. David has a strong focus on programming and methodology to ensure projects have well-defined timeframes and deliverables.
Sean Logue is a Master of Architecture graduate who has gained significant documentation, drafting and site assessment experience in various sectors including retail and workplace during the past two years. A collaborative and hardworking team member, Sean’s rigorous documentation style, strong Revit skills and eye for detail are the technical complement to his natural flair for design
Mel has extensive experience as an architect across all phases of project implementation. She has a passion for leading and mentoring in the wider design industry, being an active member of Architects for Peace and Parlour (improving gender equity in architecture). Her particular interest is in sustainable architecture, having worked on a variety of projects, including commercial; sports; education; health; & multi-residential. Caring for the wider community is also important to Mel. She is an avid volunteer (most recently for Habitat for Humanity) and tutor actively across RMIT and Melbourne University architectural courses. Leading project teams to achieve desired client and user experiences gives me great job satisfaction. She takes great care and pride in her contribution to projects, whether as a project lead or within a team.
David is a highly motivated, qualified Architect with over 15 years industry experience. David has gained a range of international experience and knowledge working in both Australia and the UK, with a focus in Sports, Education, Seniors Living, Workplace, Sport and Residential sectors. He is a strong and effective project leader and has in-depth technical knowledge of BCA regulations and the Australian Building Standards and is an integral part of dwp’s sustainability group.
Alex is a Master of Architecture graduate with international and Australian architectural experience in high-rise and health sector. He is a passionate architectural graduate, dedicated to improving building environment for everyone, he is safety-driven and goal-oriented.
A core member of the dwp EA team, Cate possesses a deep knowledge and history of the Adelaide Studio, our clients and our projects. Responsible for all administration functions within the practice, Cate remains abreast of industry and broader market developments to ensure the continual sharing of information across the practice and with our clients.
Ceara is currently the EA in the Melbourne Studio. Her expertise lies in coordinating and leading administrative and operational functions to keep optimal efficiency and success within the studio.
With over 10 years experience within administration and in creating company marketing collateral, Ceara’s passion for design and interiors as well as her extensive administrative background is what drives her to be successful and integral part of the dwp team.
Sophie is a core member of the dwp EA team with years of experience in administration and graphic design. Sophie is responsible for all administration functions within the Newcastle studio and assists all other studios in the smooth running and development of their projects.
Having gained experience working in Santa Monica, California. Along with being bilingual, it has provided Nik with the knowledge and skills to adapt his performance to accommodate different projects. Nik’s passion of wanting to learn about the different fields within architectural design, from hospitality, retail, residential to education. Has given him the opportunity to set personal goals to enhance his philosophy for future design challenges.
Afifah is based in the Newcastle office and has been in the Architecture industry since her graduation in 2013. She has gained experience in a diverse range of projects both in Australia and Malaysia. Some sectors that Afifah has worked extensively on are Seniors Living and Residential. She is passionate about creating valuable spatial experiences for end users. Combined with her excellent interpersonal and technical skills she aspires to add value and design quality on any project that she is involved with.
