Chic modern clubhouse

The architectural and interior design for Flora Ville Golf & Country Club, gym, caddyshack, pool and terraces proved a departure from the ‘traditional’ ostentatious Thai Clubhouses of the past.

To create a comfortable environment for small and large groups of golfers and guests, dwp’s design theme was simple, clear delineated space and flow of function. An open breezeway with large trees and views over the golf course creates a grand sense of arrival. Set on terraces, the buildings are low rise with dark stone paving, cream walls and pitched roofs. The interiors are in a muted natural grey colour palette with materials that reflect the golf course environment. Functionality was of paramount importance with open entry locker rooms a convenient pro shop, spacious lounge and restaurant that can caters for 250 members and guests.

Overall the design is a contemporary, sharp, clean aesthetic with natural materials that has a low impact on the environment and has open golf course views over the terraces
