Bangkok Bank, Private Bank

BBL Private Bank, situated at the Ground Floor of Sathorn City Tower, presents itself as an exclusive banking experience tailored for high-net-worth clients. Designed by dwp, the establishment comes equipped with all business essential facilities including workspace for the Private Bank team, an elegant lounge area, and versatile meeting rooms replete with state-of-the-art technology.

Channelling the concept of “Serenity Wealth Management”, the bank projects a potent symbolism of the lotus flower, embodying principles of financial stability, tranquillity, and growth. Token design principles like lotus-inspired artwork, tranquil water features, refined finishes, elegant lighting, and living greenery infuse an atmosphere that reflects prosperity and growth within this timeless and private layout. Curated tones of blue, gold, white, muted green, and earthy hues permeate through the establishment encapsulating stability, wealth, opulence, growth, and harmony. A bespoke, marble lotus sculpture serves as a visual metaphor for wealth and enlightenment, embodying BBL’s core values.

Dynamic spaces including a client reception area, multiple meeting rooms of varying sizes, secure safety box, executive rooms, open working spaces, collaboration spaces and telephone booths all harmonise to meet the changing needs of the customer. BBL Private Bank, having been synonymous with reliability since 1944, continues to foster unique relationships built on trust, while articulating an environment of growth and financial prosperity.

Siam Music Yamaha Office

Located within Siam Pathumwan House in the heart of Bangkok, the new head office for Siam Music Yamaha—designed by dwp—embodies the brand’s legacy of tradition and forward-thinking innovation. Spanning three levels, the space seamlessly integrates a flagship retail store, a music school, and corporate offices. Each element is thoughtfully crafted to reflect Siam Music Yamaha’s identity and Yamaha Corporation’s core values of Excellence, Authenticity, and Innovation.

Inspired by Yamaha’s brand philosophy, “Wave Length: Follow your own rhythm,” the design fosters emotional well-being and mental clarity. The spatial experience is intentionally curated to encourage relaxation, focus, and creativity—cultivating a holistic environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike.

The interiors are defined by a refined and balanced palette of colours and textures. Soft grey and beige upholstery create a calming atmosphere, complemented by bold accents of black granite that introduce a sense of sophistication. Cream-toned acoustic wall panels enhance serenity while promoting collaboration and focused work. Subtly patterned carpet tiles in shades of black and grey delineate key zones, harmonized with a minimalist backdrop of white, charcoal, and matte black walls. Wood and black laminate elements add warmth and depth, rounding out the design with understated elegance.

Each corner of the new headquarters is carefully composed to be both functional and emotionally resonant. The result is a modern, immersive workplace that echoes Yamaha’s heritage while supporting innovation and creativity—an inspiring environment that moves to its own rhythm.

UOB Plaza Bangkok

dwp has completed the design of the UOB Plaza Bangkok on the famous Sukhumvit Road which is the main artery of the city. The 21-storey building posed a complex design challenge due to its irregular architecture, but dwp’s design principle was able to be adopted as a typical layout and adjusted to each floor and space. The main design concept for the UOB Plaza property was “a discovery of Thailand”. dwp represented the four different regions of Thailand in the design characteristics, with each section showcasing different colour combinations and incorporating specific graphic patterns from local artists to enhance each characteristic. The executive floors and Penthouse were designed to represent the Peak, the highest point in Thailand

In a departure from common design practices for banks and financial offices, dwp minimised enclosed department spaces and opened up the space to introduce natural light, encouraging cross-departmental collaboration. Zoning played a big part in the design and space planning, allowing users to easily orient themselves through the floors and areas. Various working environments were created to enhance efficiency and encourage staff to find the most suitable space, from individual focus booths to a bistro for a more casual working environment.

The UOB headquarters also includes facilities designed to further enhance the user experience and make the UOB office a desired work environment. A gym, changing rooms, open kitchen, nurse room and lactation room as well as a massage room are included in the project.

One Suntory

One Suntory, situated on the 15th floor of the PARQ Building in Thailand, is an office space intricately designed to mirror Suntory Beverage & Food Thailand’s core values. The interior utilises natural materials and plant installations, embodying respect for nature and creating a serene, health-promoting environment. Flexible layouts and communal areas encourage employee collaboration and innovation, resonating with the ethos of embracing challenges. Water-themed elements and a sensory design echo the ‘Mizu To Ikiru’ promise and the commitment to consumer-centric experiences. Additionally, the incorporation of Thai cultural elements signifies a harmonious blend of local identity with Suntory’s global brand, underscoring their aspiration to be a beloved local entity.

Upon entering, one is greeted by the vibrant colour palette of turquoise, light blue, Pepsi blue, and white that the office incorporates into its design architecture. Acoustic slat ceilings in these lively hues along with the walls that tastefully combine the vivid colour palette with light wood finishes, add playful yet harmonious touches to the interior.

Adding to this uniqueness, each meeting room in the office represents various Suntory drinks. For instance, the BRAND’S Berry Essence theme shines through a pink and purple room, whereas the BRAND’S Pro theme reflects in an orange room. Further enhancing the ambiance, the café area features modern, joyful LED neon signs on the wall, aligning with the company’s commitment to its product offerings. The entire design approach reinforces Suntory’s dedication to creating a well-being and joy-filled environment.

The Universal Music Office on Level 23 of Silom Edge in Bangkok, captures the essence of the Universal Music Group, the world’s leading music company. This vibrant space is designed by dwp with the aim of providing an inspired workplace that promotes employee wellbeing and attracts new talents.

Reflecting Universal Music Thailand’s DNA, the office features festive and collaborative elements throughout. The design facilitates mini events, live streaming, and various business functions. With a focus on enhancing the workspace experience, the office offers flexibility and various choices to fit different purposes. KBank Private Banking Office

In a big move for the corporate banking sector, KBank asked dwp to design a very high-end, by invitation only, banking experience for their high net worth clients focused on customer service. A warm opulent welcome is created right from the lift lobby through to the concierge where statuesque French doors open into the comfortable and luxurious customer lounge. Although KBank’s branding colour is usually green, this is the only KBank product to allow a colour scheme of taupe, browns and creams which offer a lush, rich environment.

Named after locations relating to KBank history, separate, private meeting rooms are each designed with a specific, unique character. The designs were made to offer different experiences depending on the character of the customer. Although the design story for each room is expressed differently, each is a tale of about wealth with custom carpets, colours, patterns, textures and finishes. The office is located on a very high floor in a prime location so the layout was planned to maximise natural light throughout and allow the stunning views inside.

Beyond design, dwp pushed KBank – a traditional company – towards a modern office concept with a bar, a long countertop with power outlets for hot-desking and a café with a view. The result is an extremely functional and flexible office design.

dwp’s innovative office design is conceptualised to increase productivity, support business growth as well as customers’ lifestyle choices by creating a relaxed, creative interior with natural light, practical facilities, and a sustainable space. The design concept is a homey, urban lifestyle atmosphere that provides privacy and warmth. Industrial, raw and natural materials were mainly used for this project: concrete, wood, metal and a vertical garden to soften the environment, mood and tone.

The active reception with barista bar and hot desk working area is a hub formed from concrete and surrounded by a natural, green environment. The design reflects the inclusive culture and partnership approach to working with clients. The reception opens up to the larger community space that provides a single location for staff to work, socialise and hold community events.
