A multi-use flexible pre-prep activity space was designed for the early years students at Shrewsbury school.
Curved seating and movable furniture with cleanable upholstery provides flexibility to the classroom. A cooking zone with demonstration island for early years students has sliding doors to provide privacy and visibility for teachers to oversee the students at all times.
dwp designed all the furniture with dimensions suitable for early year students. Soft colour tones, light wood and white are used throughout which maintains the school’s identity while encouraging children to collaborate and learn. The design allows natural light to flow into the classroom
