Smart planning for an intimate experience

1832 Tea Lounge by Ronnefeldt

  • Bangkok, Thailand

Ronnefeldt turned to dwp to provide a design that epitomises sophisticated tea drinking culture. Customers sit at stylish two person sofas set into an alcove formed by a wall covered in classic antique tea drawers. An elegant gold vaulted ceiling rises in the centre of the room above a free-standing white marble table display. The large window opens up onto the front of the shopping mall, advertising the tea lounge to passersby. Stained glass sections provide shelving for decorative tea related items.

dwp|technology provided lighting, audiovisual and acoustics design and consultation services. High level lighting elements were used to create a warm and delightful atmosphere. The audio system features Bang and Olufsen loudspeakers and electronics. A CCTV system was created for communicating between servers and the kitchen. This project continues to be the cornerstone of the Gaysorn Villages F&B experience.
