Tiger Resort
- China
The overriding ambition of this project is protecting the endangered Chinese Huanan Tigers in their very own resort location.
The humans get their own resort too at a stylish boutique hotel. Featuring 58 luxury villas, restaurants, a spa, ballrooms and gym, guests have an unforgettable experience of the natural world in close proximity to the tigers. dwp | Jordy Fu create a structure of ‘invisible architecture’ with sound-proof, super light one-way glass façades that reflects nature back to the animals.
The result is a natural sanctuary in the mountains where guests can observe each tiger on its own island. The islands are linked by canals that allowing guests to arrive by private boat.
