dwp|minteriors designed Rau Ram restaurant to transport diners back to the glamorous and romantic bygone era of Indochine. Brightly coloured chinoiserie silk wallpaper, with hand-painted birds perched on branches, is interspersed with lacquered black walls.
Soft luxurious detailing is off-set with wrought iron, distressed finishes and raw notes such as vintage tiles from its former life as a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Burmese teak furniture is paired with imported French brasserie chairs for a colonial European twist. Palm fronds are a motif throughout; on walls and in pots.
